Beyond Visible Light - A Day of Infrared Photography

The History of Infrared - 100 years of Infrared imaging from scientists and photographers.

The Science of Infrared - Camera modification, lens selection, common problems, processing of colour & B&W infrared and preparation of 3D infrared images. Simon will also discuss the use of unconverted DSLR or mirrorless cameras for monochrome and infrared imaging.

An Infrared Portfolio - Simon's personal portfolio of B&W IR images taken around the world over the last 10 years.

A regular lecturer to camera clubs and RPS groups all round the UK, Simon Weir is an editorial/fine-art photographer, video producer and photographic workshop leader based near London but now travelling all around the world. Those who have been to Simon's many lectures and workshops all agree that his passion and enthusiasm for both the art and the technique of photography guarantee that this day will be as enjoyable as it will be informative.
